AEC Welcomes Robert Butts

Robert Butts joins the AEC team as Eastern Regional Sales Manager where he will be responsible for Tennessee, Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina, New Jersey, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and the New England States.

With a combined 22 years of sales, marketing and management of both auxiliary equipment and twin-screw extruder systems, Robert has accumulated a vast knowledge of the plastics, rubber and pharmaceutical industries, providing a great advantage to target other markets while providing excellent service and customer dedication.

Robert previously worked at Leistritz, in the twin-screw extruder division, located in New Jersey, where he was promoted form Sales Engineer to Product Manager. As sales engineer, Robert was involved with technical sales for their twin-screw extruder systems ranging from 18-35mm, serving all markets. Advancing to Product Manager, Robert was responsible for sales and marketing of twin-screw extruders and associate auxiliary equipment to the Color, Plastic composite and Academic industries. Prior to Leistritz, Robert was Sales Manager for G.F. Goodman & Son, Inc., a recognized manufacturer of auxiliary equipment for extruded plastic and rubber for over 16 years.

Keeping with AEC's tradition of full-customer support, Robert looks forward to enhancing customer satisfaction as well as increasing market share in the plastics and extrusion markets.

Robert has an interest in coaching Lacrosse, fly fishing and running. He resides in Harrisburg, PA with his family.
